The PTFA

The PTFA is open to everyone who is or has been a parent, carer or member of teaching staff. We are responsible for the main fundraising activities within the school, organising events that are fundamental to the inclusion and enjoyment of all pupils, teachers, parents and the wider community.

The PTFA is chaired by Holly Jenner.

Welcome to the PTFA - Parents, Teachers and Friends Association. We are a friendly group of people who want to enrich our children’s lives at St Stephen’s School. Our main aim is to raise funds to pay for items and events that would not otherwise be funded by the school budget.

Financial Commitments

The PTFA has regular commitments of £8,000 per year to fund essential items such as reading books, SEND resources, Science and Music resources, financial aid for school trips and more. We have also raised for bigger projects such as our school library (£30,089) and the Reception Playground (£25,440).

Calendar of Events

We have a lovely (and busy!) calendar of events each year including a Christmas Fair and Summer Festival, Bedtime Story Evening for the children, Quiznight, Sports Day, fundraising activities and more.

Go for 50! - Revitalise our School Hall

This year, 2024, we have a vision to transform our school hall into a vibrant, multi-functional space that truly reflects the spirit of our school. To achieve this, we aim to raise £50,000 through a dynamic fundraising project.

Miss Taylor says, ‘Our school hall is not just any space; it is the beating heart of our daily school life, utilised by every pupil every day, often more than once a day. From Collective Worship to school dinners, from captivating productions to lively PE lessons, from breakfast club to after school club - it serves as the epicentre of our school experience. This endeavour is about more than bricks and mortar; it's about creating an inviting space that fosters a sense of unity, belonging, and excellence. We want our school environment to mirror the expectations we have for all that we do at St Stephen’s’.
