Headteacher's Welcome
I am extremely proud to be headteacher of the thriving, happy, learning community that is St Stephen’s Church Primary School. From the moment you walk through our doors, you will feel our positive ethos, see smiling children (and staff) and witness children engaged in their learning.
St Stephen’s is committed to developing each child as an individual. We provide a creative, engaging and balanced curriculum, full of opportunities, and encourage all our children to make the most of their personalities, talents and abilities. We are a school that promotes a love of learning and zest for life.
Our school has a great variety of strengths which include high standards of behaviour, a skilled and enthusiastic staff team, a firm commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience and impressive outdoor space. Our pupils achieve excellent academic success but, even more importantly, they leave us confident, resilient and ready for the next stage of their education.
We are proud of our Church School status, which ties in closely with our School Vision and Core Values.
We strive to ensure a positive and productive partnership which draws on the strengths of individuals and our community. We understand that with commitment, hard work, ambition, careful planning and a sense of fun we can offer all children a positive learning experience and environment.
